GPS Position Hold
The Draganflyer X8 uses a GPS position hold feature which allows you to focus on shooting outstanding pictures and video. All you have to do is flick a switch and the helicopter will maintain its position in the air. Once you are finished taking photos from that position simply fly to your next position and the GPS hold will update to the new position. This allows you to focus more on shooting your pictures and video than the details of flying the helicopter.
Once you are in position you can ascend or descend in a vertical column simply by simply using the Spring Centered Throttle (SCT) control. To frame your shot you are able to pan and tilt the camera. The camera is panned by using the helicopters yaw controls to move left and right and then can be tilted up and down. GPS position hold allows you to concentrate on taking great pictures and video with out the need to continually control the helicopter.
