GPS Position Hold
Lock the Draganflyer X6 helicopter in place with a flick of a switch. The GPS hold function frees you to do other things while your helicopter maintains its position in the air. With true hands free operation, aerial photography becomes as easy as point and click.
Use the spring center throttle (SCT) to move up and down within in a vertical column, pan and tilt the camera with the yaw and tilt controls, and press the shutter button on the handheld controller to snap your picture.
While the Draganflyer X6 helicopter is in use, constant GPS readings are sent back to the handheld controller as part of the real-time telemetry display.
GPS information displayed includes:
- GPS accuracy,
- Position errors,
- Number of satellites locked onto, and
- Quality of the GPS constellation (PDOP).
