Works Anywhere

The 2.4GHz two-way data link sends commands to the helicopter and receives telemetry. Because the frequency used is 2.4GHz, it works worldwide. Auto channel selection prevents frequency conflicts, and results in a reliable and secure connection.

Dragan Eye™ Pro Diversity Wireless Video Receiver

Play Video An embedded Dragan Eye™ Pro 5.8GHz dual diversity wireless video receiver incorporating two 5.8GHz video receivers is built into the controller. The diversity unit intelligently switches between the two receivers in order to obtain the best signal. Switching decisions are not only based on RSSI (Receiver Signal Strength Indication), but also on VSQA (Video Signal Quality Analysis) which monitors video quality on a frame-by-frame basis. Dual antennas can be positioned to pick up the video signal from multiple angles. Dual outputs are located on the bottom of the handheld controller for connecting video goggles and a recording device.

Use Two Controllers with One Helicopter

The Draganflyer X6 Handheld Controller is able to connect wirelessly to a second controller, and share control of the helicopter. This allows a second user to fly the helicopter while the primary user is able to retain control. Possible uses include having one pilot controlling the X6 helicopter and one videographer or photographer moving the camera and taking pictures, each using their own controller.

iWear Video Glasses

Frame your shot by seeing what the helicopter sees. A real-time video feed from the Draganflyer X6 helicopter provides a bird's eye view. The display screens in the video glasses only occupy a portion of your field of view, allowing you to keep the helicopter in sight while viewing the streaming video. This way a single user can both pilot the helicopter and also operate the onboard still camera or video camera.
