And what a beautiful area, the beach front in Santa Barbara, California. On any given hot summers day this beach is quite popular so from a safety perspective we got out here early in the morning to get some flying and photography done. Even early in the morning on this given day we faced strong, steady, "onshore" winds. You can see the wind in the flags and at higher altitudes even stronger winds plus we picked up the fog or moisture layer in the air so the bulk of our photos were shot at a medium altitude. Our subject is the Santa Barbara Pier flying the Sony NEX5n, 16mm lens, Shutter priority 1/500, auto ISO and auto aperture.
